My Experience with Brustro SketchBook | My First Sketch In My Very Firest SketchBook.

 My First Sketchbook (BRUSTRO)

I ordered my first sketchbook BRUSTRO A5 160 GSM on 4 February from amazon and received it by 6 February. That one day 5 February was long like a hell. I was already known that what I was going to draw but the day I receive it! It was like something so precious to me. On my first go I wasn't wanting to dray something ugly in it so I change my ideas many time searches a lot of reference and then I finally decided to sketch. My idea was to draw my past feelings or sad feelings so I decided to draw an angle crying in the back and a boy in front with the dead look, don't ask me how I get this idea but yes I enjoyed sketching in Brustro. Its pages are thick and textured as compared to normal paper it's not soft. Many people may think that textured paper may effect their sketching style badly, at least I was but it's not true in fact it actually help a lot. Ever Strock, I give in sketch came out clearly and beautifully. I really love how dark I can get in this sketchbook as compared to normal paper and another thing, although I don't know whether I'm halogenating it or it's in real but.... Like in normal sheets the end outcome looks a bit shiny the pencil reflect light a lot, but this sketch book it really feels like it's not reflecting that much light and the end result look really pleasant.

If you want to compare the outcomes from normal sheet and sketchbook you can compare my sketch bellow to my old sketch.

Review after using about month!

The pages of this sketch book are good. I liked the feeling of sketching in this sketchbook, every stroke of pencil stands beautifully. Brusto sketchbook's medium texture pages also improve the handling of pencil, at lest that's what I believe. But there is one problem I bought the spiraled sketchbook, which some time irritates me, but that was me who bought this, and I can manage with it.

If you are thinking of buying your first sketchbook, I suggest you go with a binded sketchbook rather than a spiraled sketchbook. Another advice go for it, you want, regret it.

Stay artistic and live the beauty!

My Sketch

The idea of this sketch has come through my past feelings as I was sad I tried presenting a boy in front with a broken and a dead look and then in the background, I presented a crying angle which basically represented the people who trying to help the boy with good intention but instead of being helped they making it more difficult for boys to move on. As long as I followed my idea everything was looking great, but as I get closer to my end idea I thought to add some more drama to fill the blank areas but now I think that was a bad idea. I was truing to give effects like a dark feeling is coming out of the boy's thought ("SORRY I'M NOT GOOD ENOUGH") and covering the angle. I think still there is a hope, by darkening the shadows of an angle it could look good, but now I really don't want to give any more time to it, I have already spended 3 days in it and I am happy with what I have.
